Kearsley Tractors celebrate 20 years of selling Kioti compact tractors
2024 is a memorable year for Kearsley tractors Ltd. The family business is located at Streetlam near Northallerton, North Yorks, Paddy Kearsley and his wife Pat own the Company selling Kioti Compact tractors and associated implements to a whole host of different types of customers.
In 2004 Paddy sold their first Kioti tractor. Paddy remembers, without referring to his records that it was a CK20 sold to a fish farm.
Over the years Kearsley tractors have continued to sell the Kioti tractor models in large numbers. They have done such a good job and love the product so much that Pat jokingly refers to themselves as the Yorkshire Branch of Kioti UK.
To commemorate selling the tractors for 20 years Kearsley tractors held a prize draw competition with their customers. Customers were asked to submit photos of the Kioti tractors that they had had purchased. The names of the customers who submitted photos were put into a hat for a chance to win a prize draw.
The lucky winners were Tony Mason and his head tractor driver Angela. Tony and Angela were presented with a large “Kearsley” hamper that was filled with some very good looking goodies. They also received a selection of Kioti merchandise items including a jacket each. It was agreed that the jackets will come in handy as the Autumn weather kicks in.
Tony had originally purchased a Kioti CK25H tractor in 2005 before more recently taking delivery of a CK4030H unit July this year.
Tony says “The tractors have been strong, reliable and durable. However, it’s the high quality support that we receive from Paddy and Kearsley tractors that makes the decision to purchase and use Kioti products the right one”.
Angela added “the tractors are great to use. Paddy’s knowledge of the product is excellent. If I call him with an operating query he can talk me through the details in the minutest of details over the phone. It is as though he was stood with me”.
Paddy and Pat hope that they will be actively selling and supporting Kioti tractors for the next 20 years, and of course they also have the help and support from Pete at Kearsley Agri Services, Newby Wiske for any repairs, servicing, maintenance etc on the tractors they supply.
Patrick Desmond General Manager for Kioti Uk was on hand Thursday last week to present a Plaque to Paddy and a flower arrangement to Pat as a very sincere thank you and a mark of appreciation. Patrick was also on hand to assist Paddy and Pat present the winning prizes to Tony and Angela.
